Ellen and I had a wonderful time at my first ever art gallery opening! Several friends (local artists) from the PAA came over to Astoria (50 miles round trip!) to see and be supportive. Very nice of them.

It is so cool to be in the company of such wonderful artists. Turns out that my work is what inspired RIVERSEA to have this show in the first place.

WOW, eh?

Nicely done sir. I see Momma got a hold of ya and made you cut your hair and trim your beard too.

LOL!

Thanks Busted! I am pretty happy about it myself.
Haircut? yea, well, I was going for a Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top) look, and was up to 4 or 5 hair ties for my beard and 5 or 6 for the hair when it finally began to really piss me off. I mean I had to clear the bathtub drain screen 3 or 4 times in the course of one shower, so OFF it went!
I would have sent it in to 'locks of love' where they make wigs (supposedly) for kids who lost their hair from chemo, but they won't take any grey!
