Last week, in the local paper, we noticed a story and picture of bears in the backyard pond behind the neighbor's house across the street.
WAY COOL.
This whole area where we live is just a few high spots in a wetland. We live on a sand spit between the ocean, the Willapa Bay, and the Columbia River. All throughout this sand spit we call home are the homes of bears, raccoons, coyotes, cougars, great blue herons, crows, eagles, and many many other creatures who attempt to co-exist with us. ANYHOW, here is one of the pictures that Ron and Maxine took. The whole series can be seen in a Kodak gallery they set up.
