The truck is stacked tight 7 1/2 x 9 x 4 feet with aluminum scrap and the trailer (7 1/2 X 17 feet) is loaded with iron. Heading out in the morning for Metro Metals in Portland. This will be the first trip this new truck/trailer.

A NEW TRUCK FOR SINGLETREE SALVAGE & JOE'S PLACE STUDIOS
1979 GMC 3500 1 ton - dual wheels, diamond plate bed, new wheel bearings and seals, Goodwrench rebuilt 350 with turbo 400 transmission.
Waiting for a new speedometer to arrive via USPS then ready to load up with aluminum and other scrap metal, hook on to the 17 foot trailer already loaded with iron and tin, and head on out to Metro Metals in Portland!
PS- speedometer (which did need to be replaced) arrived and NOW I learn that the problem might be in the speedometer gear in the transmission tail shaft. Today I will pull the driveline and tailshaft to have a look.
